Admission Policies

Our current admission limit is 60 children per year band. If there are more applicants than places available, the Governors, who are the admissions authority for the Academy, will operate an oversubscription policy as outlined in our admissions policy.  The Academy follows Stoke-on-Trent City Council determined admission arrangements:-

Changing Schools Stoke-on-Trent City Council

If you are applying for your child to change school part way through the academic year, because you have moved or want your child to move to a different school, talk to your child’s current school and the school you would like them to move to.

You must apply directly to the school you want your child to move to by completing an In-Year Transfer form. If they do not have a place for your child, they will offer you to complete an In-Year application form and for you to join the waiting list for a school place. You can approach another school. The Local Authority will send you a letter confirming the refusal and explaining how you can appeal the decision.
