Year 3 had an excellent time exploring the museum and enhancing their learning about the pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent. They discovered how bone china tableware was made in original workshops and giant bottle kilns of the former Gladstone China Works,now preserved as the last complete Victorian pottery factory in the country. They learnt about the traditional skills used by pottery workers and used what they had learnt to make their very own coil pot.
