A huge well done to our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 girls’ football superstars who took part in the Disney Shooting Stars Football Festival.
Holden Lane was extremely proud to host the festival and to welcome other schools from across the city to take part in the event at our school. The girls participated with great enthusiasm and showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship.
They showed positive support for each other as well as fantastic individual football skills.
The girls made us very proud by demonstrating the School Games Values of passion, self-belief, teamwork, honesty, respect and determination. They were an absolute credit to our school.
Many thanks to Mr Edwards, the Excel Academy Sports Leaders and Mrs Reece for supporting and organising the event.
