SPORT4ALL FESTIVAL
Well done to the pupils from Year 5 who represented Holden Lane at the Sport4All Festival at Excel Academy last Friday.
The children joined other local schools to take part in a range of exciting sports activities including boccia, new age kurling, seated volleyball, adapted athletics, adapted badminton and goalball.
All the activities helped to raise awareness of inclusive sports and demonstrated that sport can be enjoyed by everyone.
The children, instructed by Year 7 sports leaders, participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed developing their skills.
They also demonstrated many of the School Games Values including determination, self-belief and team work.
They represented Holden Lane with pride and were a credit to the school.
